Meirim's team
Established in 2018, Meirim began with 11 parents volunteering to support their at-risk boys.
Our dedicated team is experienced in entrepreneurship, community work, charitable activities, business, and leadership.
Yitzchok Stroh, chairman, has 14 years of experience in youth work. Yitzchok was elected as a trustee, joining and chairing the steering committee, showing how people get involved and do good volunteer work.
Pinchos Benedikt is a community activist and educator specialising in supporting at-risk teens.

Benzion Stempel serves as Treasurer. He coordinates with the management committee for the organisation's finances.

Sam's story
A short time after Sam joined Meirim, we understood that he was experiencing intense turbulence at home. There was a family illness, and he felt neglected and forgotten. An intensely sensitive child, he had always struggled to find his self-worth at home and began acting out. This was his cry for help. The team at Meirim worked with him, and today, 10 months later, he feels reengaged and more fulfilled. Sam is sharing his experiences with other boys facing similar situations, strengthening them to overcome their challenges too.

Meirim wants to remain a small, focused charity to support individual teen needs. Our trained staff have years of experience in supporting at-risk teens, and they bring their unique talents and backgrounds to help these teens see themselves as part of the beautiful mosaic – their new Meirim family.
We provide activities every day of the week on specific schedules.
We sustain an annual fundraising strategy that relies on council and interested communal donors.
