Shaya was mute in class and labelled disengaged by teachers. His parents feared he’d fall through the cracks. But, beneath the silence, he brimmed with artistic talent and a story to tell.
At Meirim, Shaya found his voice through multimedia art. His first project, a digital animation of his journey, was showcased at a parents' evening.
Now, Shaya runs an online art channel, inspiring other teens to express themselves creatively.
